Let me tell you a bit about myself – who I am, where I live and what I do…
I’m Alison, apart from being a social media geek, I’m a fairly normal person.
I live in a village in Lancashire, UK with my husband, daughters and a cocker spaniel called Jedi. If you live outside the UK, Lancashire is in the North West of the UK, I live about 30 minutes from Manchester.
My Blogs:
I launched Social Media Marketing in response to other small businesses who wanted to know how I had managed to establish my first business online and build such a strong brand so quickly. I have over 16 years offline marketing and PR experience, but for the last two years I have trained and worked specifically in internet PR.
I also guest blog for other people and write on loads of different subjects from parenting to internet gaming.
I also have two other businesses – I manufacture organic baby clothes and I retail baby bedding. So I’m very busy!
Well, you obviously must be interested in Twitter, so I’d love to connect with you there. I don’t tweet every second of the day, but when I do it’s likely to be about something interesting I’ve noticed in the blogosphere, or just something interesting in general! I like to tweet in response to other people, so I hope we can say “hi.”
